The Cyber Essentials standard:
- is for any business that is uncertain what they need to do to improve the security of their systems and protection of their data.
- has been designed with smaller companies in mind – although it can and does apply to organisations of any size.
- is backed by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC), which was set up by the UK Government in 2016 to raise the nation’s awareness of the threat posed by cyber-attacks
- covers the basic protections that can be put in place to and how vulnerable many computers and other devices are “out of the box”, unless they are
The IASME Governance standard:
- is for any business that is looking to improve their overall information security, but does not want to go down the ISO 27001 route
CompliCIS has worked with many organisations across the UK, from NHS Trusts to R&D Consultancies to ensure they achieve Cyber Essentials, Cyber Essentials Plus and IASME Governance certification.
